Project Objective
– Creating the vision and guiding strategic objectives for Gwadar City.
– Updating the existing Master Plan of Gwadar City and its integration with the Master Plan of the Gwadar Port.
– Creating an inclusive and sustainable strategic development plan that ensures the socio-economic uplift of the Makran coast in general and the Gwadar Region in particular.
– Recommending regulatory interventions and ways and means to develop Gwadar as a ‘Special Economic Zone’ and ensure near-term economic growth (including trickle-down effects).

Creating a state-of-the-art vocational and technical training institute in the port city of Gwadar.
Project Description
The people of Gwadar are the main/fundamental stakeholders in the development of the Port City of Gwadar. Their participation in the operation & management of the deep-sea port, industrial and commercial businesses, and urbanization processes is key to all long-term developmental initiatives. This project aims to enhance the skills of the active population of Gwadar to enable their participation in the growth of the Port City.
Groundbreaking held on 16th December 2019. Project completed and inaugurated on 30th September 2021.

Project Objective
To provide primary connectivity of Gwadar Port & Free Zone with the network of National Highways for smooth logistics transportation.
Project Description
The current narrow thoroughfare in Gwadar town disrupts normal traffic, necessitating the construction of a 6-lane expressway connecting the port with the Mekran Coastal Highway. This project also includes a 30-meter wide railway corridor.

Phase-II of a 50-bed hospital project under the GDA Business Plan (Federal PSDP) on 68 acres of land. The proposed project includes the construction of remaining medical blocks, nursing and paramedical institutes, a medical college, central laboratory, and other allied facilities. It also involves the supply of medical equipment and machinery.
